Dopo il 14 gennaio 2011, data che segna la caduta del regime tunisino, barche fatiscenti hanno lasciato il continente per sbarcare belle isole Pelagie. Il reportage racconta come da porta d'Europa, Lampedusa, si sia trasformato nel 25esimo distretto della Tunisia, un luogo sospeso in cui uomini si sono accalcati nelle capanne di fortuna, fatte di sogni, speranze e di passato. Un passato che li ha profugati su terre sconosciute e lontane dove il mare ne fa da ponte e spesso si trasforma in una sfinge.

 Aprés le 14 de Janvier, date qui signe la chutte du régime tunisien, des bateaux croulants ont quitté le Continent pour débarquer dans les Iles Pelages. Le reportage raconte comment Lampedusa, qui était la PORTE de l'Europe, est maintenant dévenue le 25ème gouvernorat de la Tunisie. Un lieu suspendu où les hommes se sont entassés dans des chaumières, faites de reves, d'éspoirs et de passé. Un passé qui les a jettés dans des terres inconnues et loines dont la mer represente le pont et qui souvent se tranforme dans une sphinx.

 

After January 14, 2011, a date which marks the fall of the Tunisian regime, derelict boats have left the continent to land beautiful Pelagie islands. The report says as gateway to Europe, Lampedusa, has been transformed in the 25th district of Tunisia, an outstanding place in which men have huddled in makeshift huts, made of dreams, hopes and past. A past them profugati of distant and unknown lands where the sea makes a bridge and often turns into a sphinx.
